An A - Z list of Virtual World Games

Here is a list of Virtual World games I have collected. Some I am already familiar with, however, there are a few new ones. I have not yet had the chance to explore them all.
I will review a few more in the next couple of posts.

Virtual World games are designed for a range of ages from preschool to teens and focus on a vast range of subjects. Many allow students to communicate with others, play games, earn points and have ownership over their character allowing them to design their home and their clothes.

It is a matter of finding the best game to suit your students.

You've put a lot of work into compiling this list. Thank you for that. I hope you don't mind if I link to this page on my website for easy access for the kids.

Hey,

I appreciate you including Lasuni on the list :D. It's a small game made by myself and another developer and every incoming link is definitely appreciated ^^.

I like what you're doing with your blog, I think it's great to include new interesting techniques in schools :).

I would like to suggest ROBLOX, a virtual world for kids of all ages. Ther is chat, but you must be over 13 (or have a parent virtually change your age,) to be able to use custom chat. Otherwise, there is safe-chat. ROBLOX is a game that many kids love, and you may build and hangout, and evenbuild your own hangout! There is a setting where you can give your friends tools, so that they can build with you! I highly recomend it, for you can have a lot of fun! :) :) :D
